Last Friday, I decided to spend my day in Los Angeles. I woke up at 8 am and drove down to the Broad museum is downtown. If you have not seen  this museum on social media, you might be living in a cave. I finally gave into the hype and had to see it for myself. I got there at 10:30 (30 minutes before it even opened), just to wait in line for an hour and a half. Tickets are free, but unless you have them reserved you can wait upwards of three hours. After waiting it out in the cold, it was finally time to go in. The museum ended up being a lot smaller than I thought and that is why the wait is so long. I am not a big fan of art, but was very impressed by all the sculptures and was pretty stoked that they had some original pieces from Andy Warhol. It took us about 45 minutes to get through the museum and then we decided to go eat at 7th and fig. If you are in downtown and want a variety of food choices, I would recommend going there. After finishing our food, I decided to go visit my sister in Santa Monica (which happens to be one of my favorite places). We went to the Santa Monica Pier which is always nice, especially when it’s sunny. We also went to the Venice Canals, which like Venice Italy, there are canals with houses lining them and they are filled with gondolas and small boats. It is so beautiful there and I would highly recommend going to see them. We then were able to catch the last few minutes of the sunset at Venice beach, which was absolutely gorgeous. We finished our night at the 3rd Street Promenade and ate dinner there. If you have never been to Los Angeles or have not yet been to any of these places, I would strongly suggest going to any of these locations. I hope to have given you guys recommendations and inspiration for an adventure (and yes, I did have an outfit change lol)

-xoxo lol
